Raiders have played 10 different offensive linemen through four games

It’s no secret that the offensive line for the Raiders has not performed well to start the season. That was expected as it was an issue in training camp and in the preseason.

But what is surprising is that the Raiders haven’t been able to figure out any possible solutions so far. Through four games, the offensive line is in no better shape than it was in Week 1 of the preseason.

In a recent article by Sam Monson of Pro Football Focus, he ranked all 32 offensive lines after four games. Not surprisingly, the Raiders finished near the bottom of the league at No. 28.

But what was more interesting was the praise given to rookie Dylan Parham and the tidbit that the Raiders have already used ten different offensive linemen this season:

“The Raiders’ line has been constantly shuffling this season due to injuries, but rookie Dylan Parham absolutely belongs in their strongest lineup. He has above-average PFF grades in each facet of play. The Raiders are now up to 10 different linemen who have played at least a snap on offense through four weeks.”

The Raiders are still rotating their right tackles and will likely continue to do so until they find a starter. That means the unit will struggle to gel. At some point, Josh McDaniels just needs to pick a starting five that he is comfortable with and move forward.
