Some of you may remember back in Week 12 when Maxx Crosby was listed as Doubtful against the Chiefs with a knee injury. Crosby even took a trip to the hospital the day before the game. And some images of his knee came out that were downright gruesome.
Then when the Raiders took the field, there was Crosby, fighting through the pain because if he could stand, he wasn’t going to stand for missing a game.
The injury didn’t heal up on its own either. Crosby dealt with it the final six games of the season. Even still he saw every snap in three of those games.
Now that the season is over, Crosby was finally able to take care of it. The All Pro edge rusher posted pictures of himself Wednesday in his hospital bed following the surgery.

Now begins the actual road to recovery for Crosby. First the healing, then the rehab. In most cases, I wouldn’t expect to see a player back on the practice field until at least training camp, but I would not count Crosby out for being on the field at some point this offseason, considering he tends to take practice as seriously as he does the games.
