Raid on call centre, 9 held in Kolkata

KOLKATA: Officers of Bidhannagar Cyber Crime Police raided the office of JoinUs Techsoft Consultancy Services on the fourth floor of Meridian Building at Sector V on Friday. They found hundreds of young men and womencalling people in UK, USA and Australia on the pretext of giving tech support.

They arrested nine officials and employees, charging them under IPC sections dealing with cheating, forgery, criminal conspiracy and sections under Indian Telegraph Act 1985.
