Rahul Dravid's coaching is very silent and correct: Lalchand Rajput

NEW DELHI: Former India head coach Lalchand Rajput shared his thoughts on Rahul Dravid's coaching tenure after India won their second ICC T20 World Cup by defeating South Africa in a thrilling final in Barbados on Saturday.

Lalchand Rajput highlighted Dravid's unique coaching style, attributing the team's success to his calm and correct approach.

"All of us know that Rahul Dravid's coaching is very silent and correct. We call him Wall of Cricket... When one wins the World Cup, any person jumps up with joy. He danced yesterday and showed that he has another side also," Lalchand Rajput told ANI.

India's victory in the summit clash was driven by strong performances from Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya in the death overs, complemented by excellent batting from Virat Kohli and Axar Patel.

This win marks the end of India's 11-year ICC trophy drought, with their last win being the Champions Trophy in 2013. India are also notable for being the first team to win the title undefeated.

The combined efforts of the Indian team under Rahul Dravid's guidance led to this significant achievement, bringing joy to fans and ending a long wait for an ICC title.
