Raheem Sterling’s quest to find a new club before Deadline Day has taken a twist.

The 31-year-old winger finally called time on his Chelsea career on Wednesday, parting ways with the club by mutual consent after spending the season toiling alone in the club’s so-called ‘bomb squad’.
