Raheem Sterling: Former England star admits dangerous driving after M3 crash

  • Raheem Sterling has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, possession of nitrous oxide and failing to provide a specimen at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court.
  • The charges follow a single-vehicle crash involving a Lamborghini on the M3 near Minley on 28 May, in which no injuries were reported.
  • The 31-year-old entered his guilty pleas during a court appearance on Tuesday wearing a dark top and black trousers.
  • Sterling scored 20 goals in 82 appearances for England and won four Premier League titles during his club career with Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
  • The footballer was awarded an MBE in 2021 for services to racial equality in sport.
