Fabrizio Romano has reported that Chelsea are set for a fresh round of discussions over the transfer of Raheem Sterling from Manchester City.
The Blues have been pursuing the England international since last month who has one year left on his current deal at The Etihad and is open to a move. Thomas Tuchel has been pushing this transfer, with reports that he personally called the player to convince him of a switch.
Romano also claims that positive talks were held on Friday, whilst we wait for final details for Sterling and both clubs in order to complete the agreement.

Chelsea have also been in talks for Raphinha after agreeing a £60m fee with Leeds, however, the Brazillian has indicated his intention to wait and see if Barcelona can agree on a deal. With that hold-up, it now looks likely that Sterling, 27, will become the first major men's signing of the Todd Boehly era.
Sterling has scored 109 Premier League league goals in 320 appearances for both Liverpool and Manchester City, hitting double figures in the last five seasons. And in all of those years, the winger has bettered Chelsea's top scorer.
The England international would likely only be the first of a busy window for Chelsea, with talks for Jules Kounde, Nathan Ake and Matthijs de Ligt proceeding as Boehly hopes to secure defensive reinforcements ahead of the new season.
