A fuming Rangers fan has claimed that Bobby Madden missed Tom Rogic's "assault" on Calvin Bassey.
The whistler has been at the centre of Celtic fan ire following the Scottish Cup semi-final.
However, one fan was keen to flip the script insisting that Rangers had been harshly dealt with.
John from Renfrew left the Clyde One SuperScoreboard panel dumbfounded with his claim that Bassey had been slapped by the Celtic playmaker - in an incident none of the pundits on duty saw.
He said: "I was delighted with Rangers performance from start to finish. They controlled the game from start to finish. They were on a different level from Celtic athletically.
"My point is that I am fed up of Celtic fans waxing lyrical about Bobby Madden's performance when it was clear several Celtic players could have been sent off."
Host Gordon Duncan quickly chimed in: "That's not what waxing lyrical means, they are certainly not waxing lyrical about his performance. So what Celtic players should have been sent off yesterday?"
John continued, unfazed: " Tom Rogic for a slap on Calvin Bassey, open-handed, twice. Slapped him. That's assault."
Duncan exclaimed: "Assault?!"
Andy Halliday cut in: "I can't remember the slap. Not that I seen, no."
Duncan: "I need to be honest, I am unable to remember that Tom Rogic assaulted Calvin Bassey."
Hugh Keevins added: "It did not come up in conversation yesterday at all. This is the default setting for supporters. The comments made about the referee are over the top, and now we are having words like assault used.
"People look at the match and they are too emotionally involved to think clearly. Sorry, John, but you're just not thinking clearly."
The caller was then asked to move on, with Duncan suggesting it may be better to focus on how impressive his own team were rather than the referee's display.
But John wasn't finished there as he added: "Well I thought we controlled the game from start to finish. I think Bobby Madden let the game flow, but there was four of us at the same time who saw the slap.
"I don't understand how other people didn't see it. He did it twice within 30 seconds. The two of them were battling for the ball, but Rogic clearly opened his hand up and slapped Bassey on the side of the head."
