A community is demanding answers in Midlothian after several streets were left without lighting for well over a week.
Residents in Dalkeith have said that they are becoming frustrated following being plunged into darkness on Sunday November 6.
One resident, Susan Jameison, 53, said that those complaining about the issue have been passed from pillar to post by both Midlothian council and Scottish Power, with both sides allegedly blaming the other.
