Radio presenter calls for men to 'stop urinating' on side of motorways

A radio presenter has told men to put their 'private parts away on the motorway. Today FM host Pamela Joyce made the plea as she recalled spotting 'no less than half a dozen men stopping on the side of the road for a wee' during a drive.

She said the urinating motorists had ruined her "lovely, carefree vibes" as she was cruising into Galway from Dublin, Ireland. She discussed her obscene encounters live on air, before a clip of the conversation was later shared on social media.

The presenter, who hosts the noon to 2pm slot on Today FM, called out the men taking "emergency wees" by the road. She pointed out there are numerous services along the route where they could have stopped instead, as reported by The Mirror.

In a one-minute clip on the station's TikTok account, Pamela said: "So on Friday, I headed to Galway for the weekend and I really enjoy my Friday drive. Here I am, having a lovely time going down the M4/M6, but my lovely carefree vibes were interrupted.

“In the two and a half hour journey from Dublin to Galway, I saw no fewer than six willies. Six!" She went on to add: "I'm talking about men widdling on the side of the road."

Pamela continued: “Come on now... I understand, there are emergency cases. When you got to go, you got to go. But I do not believe that there were six emergency wees on the M6."

She added: "And I don’t mean little silhouettes. It was pulled in either on the hard shoulder, widdling away to their heart’s content. Mickeys blowing in the wind.

"There are top-tier service stations dotted along the route. You’re never more than 15-20 minutes from a service station on the way to Galway. Put your willy away!"

The clip received mixed responses on TikTok. One user joked: "They were just watering the flowers. it's environmentally more friendly that wasting toilet water."

Another commented: "I wouldn’t be bothered about it they could get to a toilet only for it to be closed or not working. Stop willy shaming". Someone else wrote: "Absolute dogs would have more manners. They should be fined for that."
