Rachel Stevens' past romances including soap star ex as she 'dates Dancing On Ice star'

It was recently reported that S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens has started dating her former Dancing on Ice skating partner Brendyn Hatfield.

The singer, 45, is understood to have met professional ice skater Brendyn, 37, towards the end of 2021 when they were partnered for the following year's series of the ITV show.

Before she reportedly started dating Brendyn, who also reportedly split from his wife, she was married to Alex Bourne - with who she split in 2022.

Rachel tied the knot with Alex in 2009.

The former couple are understood to be co-parenting their daughters Amelie, 12, and Minnie, eight, following their separation.

The S Club 7 singer has been in the spotlight for almost three decades and has had a few relationships over the years.

Who has Rachel dated? Here, we take a look at her past romances...

During her early days in S Club 7, the singer dated property developer Daniel Cohen for around two years.

Following their split, she met with him on a number of occasions to catch up.

She went on to get engaged to Jeremy Edwards, but when things went south, she found solace in her ex and pal Daniel.

In 2003, Daniel said: "I have seen Rachel on a number of occasions recently.

"I'm not the reason for Rachel's split with Jeremy. Rachel and I remained close after we split up.

"We carried on speaking on the phone even though we weren't going out together any more."

On Valentine's Day in 2002, Rachel got engaged to actor Jeremy Edwards.

The 52-year-old is known for his roles as Kurt Benson in Hollyoaks, Danny Shaughnessy in Holby City and more.

In 2019, he appeared in The X Factor : Celebrity with ballroom dancer Brendan Cole.

The couple got engaged after a year and a half of dating – with Jeremy asking Rachel for her hand in marriage on Valentine's Day 2002 over a romantic meal at The Dorchester.

"I really didn't have a clue he was going to do it and am thrilled to pieces," she said in an interview at the time. "We are both so happy."

However, after the death of his co-star Laura Sadler, he struggled to cope and turned to alcohol – which affected his relationship with Rachel.

The pair then split in 2004, with Jeremey later expressing regret at losing out on the £2million they were offered for photographs of their wedding.

Gavin Dein

She went on to date Gavin Dein, who is the son of former Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein.

The relationship didn't last long and they ended up splitting up in 2005.

At the time, a spokesperson said about their break up: "They were never really serious and only went out on a few dinner dates."

A year after the split, she was briefly linked to American-based English musician Oliver Trevena.

Oliver, who previously dated Denise Van Outen, is known professionally as Oli T.

A source told The Mirror at the time: "Rachel wants to take things slowly but Oli already wants to take her to meet the family."

Alex Bourne

Rachel went on to marry childhood friend Alex Bourne in a lavish ceremony at Claridge's hotel in London's Mayfair in 2009.

The pair first met as children and dated briefly as teenagers before reuniting in their late 20s.

Speaking about their romance, Rachel told Roxie Nafousi's The Moments That Made Me podcast: "We were childhood sweethearts. We went out with each other when we were 12, we met at youth club and I was besotted with him!

"We went out for probably about four weeks and when you're that age that was a really long time!"

However, the two went their separate ways in 2022 and the duo are understood to be co-parenting their daughters following their separation.

Announcing their split, Rachel wrote: "I just wanted to share with you all that after time and consideration the difficult decision has been made for Alex and I to separate."

"While we are no longer partners in marriage, we will remain partners in parenthood to our beautiful girls and continue with love and respect for each other," she continued.

She concluded the statement last year by writing: "I feel so incredibly grateful for the life we built together and will now continue to be focused on moving forward united as a family."
