Rabanne really enjoys bling. It all traces back to the fashion house's creator Paco Rabanne's affinity for designing pieces out of precious materials, like gold and diamonds. So it isn't shocking that the brand just presented the "most expensive bag" in the world on its Spring 2025 Paris runway.
The 1969 Nano is crafted from 18-karat gold and is designed to complement the "most expensive dress" in the world. Originally worn by Françoise Hardy in the 60s, the dress was made from 1,000 gold tiles along with 300 carats worth of diamonds. The new bag created by Rabanne Creative Director Julien Dossena may be expensive, but it isn't priceless. The bag will be available for purchase if you happen to have €250,000 lying around.
