Quote of the day by Whoopi Goldberg is a line about paying attention, taking responsibility and taking action. “If you want to be somebody, if you want to go somewhere, you’ve got to wake up and pay attention” was spoken by Whoopi Goldberg’s character, Sister Mary Clarence, in the 1993 film Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit. The line connects success with awareness and daily effort. It says that simply wanting a different life is not enough. People also need to notice what is happening around them, learn from their surroundings, take responsibility for their choices and work toward their goals.
