Quote of the day by Kevyn Aucoin, "Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain... To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices - today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it." offers a powerful reminder that every morning presents an opportunity to begin again. His message goes beyond simple positivity because it recognizes that human beings experience a wide range of emotions, including happiness, sadness, fear, frustration, pain, hope, and uncertainty. Choosing life does not mean pretending that difficult feelings do not exist.
Instead, it means acknowledging those feelings while refusing to let them define the entire experience of being alive. Aucoin’s words emphasize the freedom that comes from recognizing that we have choices in how we respond to each new day. We cannot control every circumstance, disappointment, or unexpected challenge, but we can often influence the attitude with which we meet them. That distinction can become especially meaningful during difficult periods, when life feels overwhelming and the future seems uncertain. Beginning each morning by consciously choosing to engage with life can transform an ordinary routine into a personal declaration of resilience, self-acceptance, and hope.
