Quiksilver launch apparel collection based on hit Netflix series Stranger Things 4

Hands up if you’re excited for the new series of Stranger Things to land on Netflix this week? Us too! And in celebration of this momentous occasion, Quiksilver have launched a gorgeous clothing collaboration with the pending arrival of volume one.

Yes the iconic surf-lifestyle brand Quiksilver is thrilled to announce the collaboration for the upcoming fourth season of the Netflix Original Series Stranger Things.

With prices starting from £32, Quiksilver will drop multiple capsule collections throughout the season, delivering a nostalgic throwback to the brand’s surf-inspired 80s era, whilst incorporating elements from the Stranger Things 4 storyline.

From jackets to t-shirts, sweaters to swim shorts, shirts and hoodies galore - the whole collection is simply stunning with pieces that wouldn’t be far from the gang’s wardrobe!

Quiksilver have never partnered with a brand on this level, and is excited to bring this Stranger Things collaboration to life - and we are too!

Quiksilver and the Netflix costume team have worked closely, diving into the Quiksilver design archives to not only take design and style inspiration for the cast wardrobe, but also to revive some of the most iconic pieces and develop collaborative apparel collections available for consumer purchase.

“Working so closely with the Stranger Things Costume Designer has been such a unique and special collaborative journey,” says Quiksilver Product Director Andrew Henry. “We’ve been able to revive classic styles from the 1986 and 1987 Quik archive to align with Stranger Things 4, creating specific apparel for cast members and consumers alike. We’re excited to tell Quiksilver’s story through this season of Stranger Things and reach a new audience through the lens of a show they know and love.”

“Quiksilver was an integral part of California fashion in the 1980s,” says Stranger Things Costume Designer Amy Parris. “The show is so true to the period that it only made sense to infuse Quiksilver archive pieces through the show this season. I hope the clothes will resonate with a younger audience who is inspired by the fashions back then and be a friendly reminder to the stylish viewers who followed fashion in the ’80s.”

The apparel collaboration aims to seamlessly introduce both brands in a fresh and exciting way to new audiences worldwide.

The show will be released in two parts, with Volume One premiering on May 27th and Volume Two premiering on July 1st - in alignment with the show’s multiple release dates.
