An expert has said that charging your phone fully overnight is not the best way to maintain its battery life. It's sure to be something many people do, wanting to wake up in the morning with a fat 100% showing.
But Ciaran Lee, a mobile gaming expert from Casinos.win, said it could be costly in the long run. He said it was often the reason why a phone's battery life depletes over time.
All phone batteries degrade over time and generally last between three and five years - exceeding the time that most people keep their phones for before upgrading. Ciaran explained that phones are designed to carry out a set number of charging cycles before a battery needs to be replaced - and every charge up to 100% counts as a cycle, reports the Liverpool ECHO.
