The Arizona Cardinals announced that former Tennessee Titans director of player personnel Monti Ossenfort was hired to be the team’s new general manager, replacing Steve Keim, who stepped down after the season.
He comes with the necessary qualifications but there are a lot of unknowns.

Will he want "his guys?"
With Ossenfort’s addition, will he want to bring in his scouts and personnel people from Tennessee and perhaps New England? Will there be a complete reshuffling of the front office?
Who will be the head coach?
This, of course, will be his first task. The Cardinals now shift their attention to hiring a head coach who aligns with the organizational goals. He has a relationship with Brian Flores, one of the known candidates the Cardinals want to interview.
What will he do with DeAndre Hopkins?
It feels like Hopkins is looking to get out of town. The betting odds suggest it is likely. Will Ossenfort ship him out? How much will he get for him? Will he keep him around?
How much control will he have?
Steve Keim had complete control over the roster, although he did have to answer questions from Michael Bidwill. Will Ossenfort be given the same level of control and how much will he share with whoever is hired as head coach?
