Questions have been raised over whether Arsenal duo Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko can keep up their positive form for the remainder of the season. It comes after the pair have enjoyed an ideal start to life in north London, hitting the ground running.
The duo have been involved in all three Premier League games played so far, winning them all to be left as the only side with a 100 percent win record and sitting top of the division. It marks a drastic turnaround to the start of the previous campaign, where the first three games all ended in defeat and left the Gunners bottom.
There was, of course, a change of fortunes for Mikel Arteta, however his side ended up narrowly missing out on a return to the top four to north London rivals Tottenham. The Spaniard looked to address those weaknesses by making five new signings, spending over £100million.

Jesus appears to be one of the marquee signings of the window, with £45million spent to land the Brazilian to give the side a much-needed centre-forward option. The 25-year-old has five goal involvements in three appearances, leading Arteta to praise him once again after victory against Bournemouth.
When asked what he brings to the team, he said: "New confidence, spark, and that winning mentality that he has and the way he competes for every ball and the way he transmits his energy and his quality to the rest of the team. You can see that in the way he was involved today. He didn’t score, he got a goal disallowed unfortunately, but he was in every action."
Fellow new arrival Zinchenko has been the go-to option at left-back so far, also impressing. However, former Liverpool manager and pundit Graeme Souness has questioned whether the pair will continue to deliver.
Speaking on TalkSPORT about Arsenal, he said: "[Arsenal are going] In the right direction. I have to say in the first-half [Vs Bournemouth], Jesus was fantastic, he looked lively. They look a really good team but you judge them against the likes of Liverpool or a Man City, Chelsea.
"They’ll be different challenges, different types of challenges will come again. Jesus played 21 times last year for City and Zinchenko 10, the winning mentality I’m not sure what that means. If you’re a good player, top player, you have that. They weren’t main men at Man City, they’re good players, very good players."
It remains to be seen whether they can continue to impress when the going gets tough for Arsenal, as it no doubt will at some point, as the season continues to move forward.
