‘Questioning every farmer’s market’: Virginia woman pulls up to her local farmers market and then sees a stall repackaging corporate product as theirs

It is a total bummer when you head out to a local farmers market expecting fresh, locally grown produce, only to realize you might be getting played. A Virginia resident named Autumn recently shared a video on TikTok that captured her frustration, racking up over 15.5 million views in less than a week. The TikToker describes it perfectly in her on-screen text, writing, “Pov: You’re now sitting in your car questioning every Farmer’s market you’ve ever been to.”

The clip uploaded by Autum features a worker she claims is an employee at one of the Virginia Farm Market. In the footage, you can clearly see her opening plastic containers of blueberries. She then pours the corporate farmed berries into rustic paper containers and lines them up for sale. Then she reaches into a branded Driscoll carton, pulls out another store container, and repackages it.
