Queensland man jailed for 12 years for child abuse material after US tip-off

United States Queensland National Center for Missing and Exploited Children

A Queensland man has been jailed for 12 years for child abuse material offences after a tip-off from US authorities.

The 30-year-old from Morayfield, north of Brisbane, pleaded guilty to eight offences, including making child exploitation material and engaging in sexual activity with a child outside of Australia.

He will be eligible for parole after six years.
