Queens Of The Stone Age launch complaints hotline for fans

The Queens Of The Stone Age have launched a complaints hotline (Andreas Neumann/PA) -

Rock band Queens Of The Stone Age have launched a complaint hotline which promises fans that their grievances will be “reviewed personally”.

The group announced the new service on Thursday, which appears to provide callers with the chance of being connected to a member of the band.

The hotline is available 24/7 for callers to leave a message, and directs individuals to an answering machine which asks whether they wish to make a complaint or proceed without one.

Those who wish to air their grievances are encouraged to leave a message, whilst those who do not are told they are “having a good day” before the line disconnects.

The hotline is said to provide a platform for “fans, friends and foes” to air their thoughts, with “a chance that some callers may even find a live ear at the end of the line”.

A poster shared on their Instagram page said: “Call the Queens Of The Stone Age complaint hotline and get heard!

“You know better, now’s your chance! No bitching too big, no whiny too tiny.

“All complaints are reviewed personally: +1 (760) 437-1966.”

The rock group have also encouraged fans to track the status of any complaints made through the hotline across their social media pages.

The Queens Of The Stone Age were formed in 1996 by vocalist and guitarist Josh Homme, who leads the current line-up alongside Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, and Jon Theodore.

The band are famous for hits such as No One Knows, Go With The Flow and Little Sister, and have received eight Grammy nominations and one UK number one album throughout their career.

The rockers are currently touring North America alongside Foo Fighters, with upcoming dates scheduled in Japan, Singapore, Australia and in Iceland – which marks their first gig in the country in 20 years.
