US rock heavyweights Queens of the Stone Age and Australian pop diva royalty Delta Goodrem have both announced their return to Newcastle.

Queens of the Stone Age, fronted by the charismatic Josh Homme, will play the Broadmeadow venue on Wednesday, December 16, as part of their seven-date Australian and New Zealand tour.

It will be the No One Knows and Go With The Flow hitmakers' first show at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre since their 2018 gig when they were touring their 2017 album, Villains.

The most recent QOTSA album was the 2023 record In Times New Roman.

Californian progressive rock band Primus and Melbourne experimental art-punk quartet Tropical F--k Storm will support QOTSA throughout the tour.

Meanwhile, fresh off her fourth-placed finish at the Eurovision Song Contest with the track Hologram, Goodrem will kick off her Pure World Tour at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on April 8, 2027.

Goodrem, 41, will be touring her forthcoming eighth album Pure.

"Every tour has its own heartbeat, and I can already feel how special this one is going to be," Goodrem said.

"Eclipse was the beginning of this new chapter, and it's only the start of what's to come. It's going to be epic - bringing together the songs people have grown up with and the brand-new music from Pure that tells the next part of the story."

Ticket sales for Queens of the Stone Age begin with an artist presale that will run from 11am on Thursday to Monday at 10am.

A Live Nation presale will run from Friday at 11am until Monday at 10am.

General public tickets go on sale Monday, 20 July, at 11am.

General sale tickets for Delta Goodrem's show are available from 10am next Monday.
