Queen's XXL nightie and Princess Beatrice's bloomers found during house clear out

An antique nightie found during a clear-out could sell for thousands when it goes under the hammer today - because it once belonged to Queen Victoria. The XXL item was found in 90-year-old Marilyn Rose's belongings by her family when they were clearing out her house ahead of a move.

The retired antique dealer had a treasure trove of goods lying around and the family had no idea who the nightie belonged to. But when it was valued by an auctioneer they discovered it had belonged to Queen Victoria, and now it's gone under the hammer - alongside the former Queen's daughter's bloomers.

The nightie is XXL (Hansons / SWNS)
