Queen’s Platinum Jubilee: Here’s how Ayrshire is honouring the monarch’s 70 years on the throne

Ayrshire residents are set to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next month as events across the region are laid out.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will celebrate 70 years on the throne on June 2 – the first British monarch to have a platinum jubilee.

And localised plans will see Ayrshire folks join in the celebrations to mark the slice of history.
