Queen's jubilee opening times for B&Q, Wickes, Homebase, Screwfix and Toolstation

The DIY industry in the UK is currently booming and it has been ever since the first Coronavirus lockdown. That is because more and more homeowners are doing it themselves instead of calling in tradespeople, this even more apparent with the cost of living crisis increasing every day.

In 2021 Kingfisher who own both B&Q and Screwfix announced pre-tax profits of £756m in the year to 31 March which was up 634%. That growth is set to continue as the global industry is now worth close to £600billion.

It is expected that the Queen's Platinum Jubilee four-day bank holiday will see thousands head to DIY outlets up and down the country, as they look to make some home improvements just in time for the summer, reports The Mirror . However, to avoid pointless journeys to your local DIY branch we have put together the latest opening times for major chains.
