Gusto Italian on the Quayside is offering two new drinks with a royal theme - their Queen of Hearts tipple is described as the Italian take on an Eton Mess, while the British beverage-inspired cocktail The Crown fittingly comes topped with a rose dust decoration of Our Majesty’s headgear. The restaurant will also be serving up some new fruity frozen cocktails over the long weekend.

TGI Fridays, which has a branch in Eldon Square, have also introduced their own limited edition Jubilee cocktail - the Earl Grey Queen-tini has Newcastle roots, mixing Earl Grey tea with zesty lemon and Tanqueray gin.
