The Queen's granddaughter has been working a part-time job over the summer at a garden centre. Lady Louise Windsor took the job whilst she waited for her A-level results, and reportedly earned £6.83 an hour.
Shoppers praised Lady Louise for being "polite and attentive" and she spent time on the tills, greeting and assisting customers as well as potting and pruning plants.
One customer was shocked to see a granddaughter of the Queen at work, saying she served him at a till reports the Daily Mirror. They said: "I couldn’t believe it was Lady Louise, I had to look twice."

"She is a really modest and sweet young woman who is polite and attentive to customers. She seemed to be loving the job.
“You’d never imagine the Queen’s granddaughter would take on a role working behind a till." Lady Louise is the Queen's youngest granddaughter, and the eldest child of Prince Edward and Sophie Essex.
Ingrid Stewart, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, said: “Isn’t it wonderful the Queen’s granddaughter rolled her sleeves up and got her hands dirty with a summer job before going to university — just like any other normal teenager.”
Lady Louise lives with her parents in a £30million mansion in Bagshot Park, Surrey. She worked over the summer whilst waiting for her A-level results to see if she could accept her place at St Andrew's University.
The 18 year old needed ABB to study English BA at the university, and had been waiting for results day with thousands of other nervous students across the country reports Birmingham Live. While her grades have not been revealed, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson has said: "Having received her A-level results today, Lady Louise will start at St Andrews University in September to study English."
A-level grades for UK students have dropped compared to pandemic years, but they remain above 2019 levels. Girls outperformed boys in their results, and geography pushed English Literature out of the ten most popular subjects.
Lady Louise will be following in the footsteps of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The couple both went to the University of Fife which is where they first met, with William studying Geography and Kate studying the history of art.
Whilst Lady Louise played a public role in her grandmother's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations and was spotted at the Commonwealth Games, she has largely grown up outside the media spotlight and attended a private school in Ascot.
