The funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will be held on Monday, September 19, after the monarch passed away at Balmoral at the age of 96.
The Queen was the UK's longest reigning monarch, ruling for more than 70 years. On Monday, she will be laid to rest alongside her husband and sister.
The service will begin at 11am, and will be led by the Dean of Westminster. It will conclude with two minutes of national silence.

After this the Queen's coffin will be taken to Windsor, where the monarch will be laid to rest alongside her husband and sister.
Here is a rundown of all the important events that will take place on Monday before, during, and after the funeral.
6.30am
At 6.30am, the Queen's lying-in-state at the Palace of Westminster ended.
8am
At 8am, the doors at Westminster Abbey opened to guests ahead of the service.
10.44am
The coffin will lifted from the catafalque by a group from the Queen’s Company and depart for Westminster Abbey in the State Gun Carriage.
King Charles III and other senior members of the Royal Family including Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward will follow the gun carriage in procession.
10.52am
Shortly before 11am, the coffin will arrive at Westminster Abbey. The bearer party will then lift the coffin from the State Gun Carriage and take it inside for the service.
11.00am
The funeral service will officially begin, which is set to see around 2,000 guests including politicians and royalty from all over the world.
The service will be led by the Dean of Westminster and will last one hour. It will be broadcast on BBC One, ITV, and Sky News.
11.55am
As the service concludes, the Last Post will be played. This is a short bugle call. There will then be a two-minute national silence.
12.00pm
The state funeral will conclude at midday.
12.15pm
After the funeral ends, the Queen’s coffin will be drawn in a walking procession from Westminster Abbey to Wellington Arch. Again, King Charles III and senior members of the Royal Family will walk behind the coffin.
1.00pm
The procession will arrive at Wellington Arch, which will mark the end of the London proceedings. The coffin will then be transported to Windsor by state hearse.
3.00pm
Upon arriving in Windsor, there will be a walking procession up Windsor Castle's Long Walk.
3.20pm
Congregation begins to enter St George’s Chapel for the committal service. Five minutes later, members of the Royal Family who did not partake in the walking procession will arrive at the chapel.
3.40pm
King Charles III and other Royal Family members taking part in the procession join it at the quadrangle on the north side as it moves into Engine Court.
3.53pm
Shortly before 4pm, the procession will arrive at the bottom of the West Steps of St George’s Chapel in Horseshoe Cloister. The coffin will be lifted out of the hearse by the bearer party and will be taken up the West Steps.
4.00pm
A televised committal service will begin, held by the Dean of Windsor. This will be attended by a smaller and more personal congregation of mourners including the Queen's family and friends.
The Imperial State Crown, orb and sceptre will be removed from the coffin by the crown jeweller. At the end of the final hymn, King Charles will take the Grenadier Guards’ Queen’s Company Colour and place it on the coffin.
Lord Chamberlain Baron Parker, the most senior official in the royal household, will break his Wand of Office. This will be placed on the coffin.
7.30pm
The Dean of Windsor will conduct a private burial service, which will be attended by King Charles III and members of the family. The King will put a handful of earth atop the coffin, and the Queen will then be buried alongside her mother, father, and sister.
She will be joined at the King George VI Memorial Chapel by her late husband Prince Philip, whose body will be removed from the royal vault to be laid next to hers.
