The Queen always looks incredible, from her impeccable fashion sense to her well-groomed hairdo - which never seems to have a hair out of place.
Of course, being the Queen, Her Majesty has always had a well-oiled team behind her, ensuring that her outfits, styling and hair are always on point - with the exception of her make-up, which she almost always does herself.
However, when lockdown struck, just like the rest of us, the Queen was left unable to mix with anyone outside of her personal bubble as a result of restrictions put in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Despite this, the Queen still managed to look as glamorous and elegant as ever throughout this time - even when isolating, as MyLondon reports.
Her senior dresser, Angela Kelly, has now revealed how the monarch was able to always stay on top of wardrobe malfunctions during recent public engagements in an updated chapter of her 2019 book called The Other Side of the Coin: The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe.
Katya Shipster, the Harper NonFiction publishing director, said of the book: "It tells the story of the royal bubble as well as the lengths Angela and the royal household went to, to ensure the safety of the monarch."
In the new chapter, it explains how Kelly and a few other members of staff created a "royal bubble" to isolate alongside the Queen at Windsor Castle to tend to all Her Majesty's needs, avoiding any wardrobe malfunctions or home beauty disasters.
Kelly, who has worked with the royal family for nearly three decades, revealed how she took on the role of hairdresser for the Queen during this time.
She has also opened up about wearing in the Queen's new shoes to ensure they are comfortable.
Kelly's tricks also include sewing in extra layers of lining to cushion the crystals in the Queen's back when wearing glamorous dresses.
The royal expert once said of her relationship with the Queen: "We are two typical women. We discuss clothes, make-up, jewellery."
The updated version of Kelly's book will be published by Harper Collins on May 12.
