Thursday’s Sigerson Cup games involving Belfast sides Queen’s and Ulster University have been postponed for the second time this week.
Barry Dillion’s UU were set to host ATU Donegal at Jordanstown at 1.15pm while Queen’s were due to welcome DCU to The Dub at 6pm this evening.
However, both games have fallen foul of the recent cold snap and both pitches have been deemed unplayable. The games were set to take place on Tuesday, but were rescheduled for Thursday due to snow earlier in the week.

Queen’s are seeking to book their place in the quarter-finals of the Sigerson after last week’s brilliant victory over Belfast rivals UU.
Luke Donnelly plundered 1-2 for the home side while Fintan Canavan and Diarmuid landed vital late points as Conor Deegan’s men claimed a narrow 1-12 to 1-11 win at The Dub.
DCU won the Sigerson as recently as 2020 and Galway star Rob Finnerty is their chief scoring threat while Donegal attacker Shane O’Donnell and Cavan defender Conor Brady are also expected to feature for the Dublin side.
Tournament organisers will be keen to confirm the rescheduled games as soon as possible with players from both Queen’s and Ulster University on both the Tyrone and Derry squads.
The rivals clash in the final of the Dr McKenna Cup on Saturday night while the All-Ireland Club Finals also take place at Croke Park on Sunday.
Glen’s Conor Glass and Ethan Doherty are currently unavailable for Ulster University while Odhran Lynch, Niall Loughlin and Ben McCarron are also on the Derry squad. Tyrone’s Darragh Canavan is also part of the UU squad alongside county colleagues Ryan Jones and Conor Cush.
Queen's players Oisin McWilliams and Diarmuid Baker are also currently on the Derry panel.
