The King Charles and Queen Camilla Australia visit has hit yet another snag (not unlike Charles’ sauso fingers), this time involving the Married At First Sight2025 cast, believe it or not.
Camilla caused quite a stir when she popped up for an appearance metres away from where the dating experiment was filming scenes for its next season.
As part of her Aussie six-day tour with her boo King Charles, the Queen rocked up to one of her final public appearances right next to the One Global Resorts — the luxe location where the couples have been living and filming for the upcoming series.
New MAFS couple Dave Hand and Jamie Marinos leant over the balcony of their apartment to have a geez at the Queen IRL, pointing while Dave filmed the once-in-a-lifetime moment on his phone. Meanwhile, another couple, Jacqueline Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly, really leant into their soon-to-be-influencer status by filming their own reactions to the royal moment.

According to the Daily Mail, a bunch of MAFS grooms tried to cop a royal wave by heading out into the crowd of monarch enthusiasts who had gathered in Green Square. Unfortunately, the fellas were quickly ushered back inside by producers who probably didn’t appreciate the Queen’s interruption to their run sheet.
One can only hope that Camilla will make the cut for the final edit of the series which airs early next year. If that happens I hope she kicks off an IMDb page and a reality career. I’d watch that show.
In case you missed it, Queen Camilla and her boo King Charles were in Sydney for a quick visit this week. It kicked off with a fancy lunch in the king’s honour, which he promptly left after a quick speech and 10 minutes of mingling.
The couple then took a quick jaunt to Canberra before coming back to Sydney for a bit of a tour, ending at the Sydney Opera House.
The visit hasn’t been without controversy though. On the second day of their royal tour, Senator Lidia Thorpe confronted the King during his royal address to Parliament, shouting anti-colonialist and anti-royal sentiments. These sentiments were also echoed by the many protesters present throughout the entire royal visit.
Ahead of the King and Queen’s return to Sydney, the large Queen Victoria statue outside of the Queen Victoria Building in the CBD was vandalised with red paint.
As quickly as it began, the King and Queen’s visit has already wrapped up. Until next time… or when the monarchy falls. Whatever comes first.
