During the 2023 NFL draft, the Seattle Seahawks seemed to sig when everyone thought they would zag. Instead of drafting consensus best player in the draft Jalen Carter at No. 5 overall, Seattle opted to improve their secondary in a big way when they picked cornerback Devon Witherspoon.
While the jury is going to be out for a while if that was the right move or not, right now the young rookie seems to be rather popular among the Seahawks veterans. In fact, it appears he is a bit of a culture setter.
Seattle’s star safety Quandre Diggs spoke at length about what the team loves about Witherspoon. Watch below.
