Quality Street fans spot new £1 full-sized chocolate bars in supermarket

Despite it still being August - just - people have already begun thinking about Christmas. However, Quality Street has helped remind people that the festive period is fast approaching with a new product launch.

Boxes of Quality Street has been a staple December treat for people up and down the country, but a new product has caught the attention of shoppers. A Purple One and Orange Crunch sharing bar have been launched in the UK.

Nestle confirmed the launch earlier in the year and said: "Yes it is true – we are launching the Purple One Sharing Bar and the Orange Crunch Sharing Bar (both RRP £1) – they will be in stores nationwide around the beginning of September.

"Designed for smaller sharing occasions, The Purple One bar is a layer of caramel on top of a milk chocolate base filled with hazelnuts. The Orange Crunch bar consists of a milk chocolate shell containing an orange flavour filling and crunchy orange flavoured pieces."

Despite originally planned for a September launch, the Purple One has already been spotted on sale early in Bristol in the Fishponds Morrisons store. They've also been spotted on sale in B&M stores across the country.
