The jury in alawsuit by chipmaker Qualcomm against chip technology supplier Arm Holdings did not reach a verdict on Friday as to whether Arm breached licensing agreements and intentionally sabotaged some of Qualcomm's dealings with Meta Platforms.
The five-day trial that wrapped up this week was the second in two years between the companies, highlighting the deterioration of their business relationship after SoftBank Group acquired control of Arm in 2016 and Arm shifted from licensing the technology needed to make chips to selling chips of its own.
