A man driving a quad bike on a busy Cardiff road died in a crash. The 34-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene on Cowbridge Road East, Cardiff, just before 5pm on Monday, August 8.

A large emergency services presence attended, with multiple police and Welsh Ambulance Service vehicles at the incident, as well as firefighters. The crash involved a green and black Yamaha quad bike.

The driver of the quad bike - a 34-year-old man - was declared dead at the scene. His next of kin have been made aware and are being supported by officers. The road was closed and cordoned off for several hours whilst the multi-agency teams worked to investigate the collision and anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to come forward.
