Tottenham continued their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 victory over QPR at Loftus Road.
Ange Postecoglou named a strong side against the Championship outfit following their 5-1 victory away at Heats earlier this week. Heung-min Son, Pedro Porro, Timo Werner and Yves Bissouma were all among the starters in west London, though were made to work for their victory.
New arrivals Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall started again too but Postecoglou was dealt a blow in regards to the former, with the midfielder forced off during the first-half.
It wasn’t until five minutes before the break where Spurs found their breakthrough, Bissouma playing a lovely one-two with Dejan Kulusevski before rounding the goalkeeper in confident fashion. Until that point, the hosts had looked very dangerous on the break.
QPR looked most likely in the second-half too amid a host of Spurs changes but Dane Scarlett ultimately tapped in a late second minutes after coming on.
