The number of young women a Sunshine Coast security guard is alleged to have offended against has increased to 19 following a public appeal.
The 23-year-old man was charged with offences including rape, torture, strangulation and stalking allegedly committed against four young women when he was arrested last Friday.
Police believe he met two of them while on duty at Maroochydore Safe Night Precinct.
Further charges were laid on Monday after police received another 15 complaints following the public appeal.
The series of sex offences are now alleged to have occurred against 19 women aged between 15 and their mid 20s.
The man is in custody and detectives continue to appeal for information from the community.
Investigations began after one of the alleged victims made a complaint through an online reporting system before police identified three other women.
"It's a harrowing event for all of them. They've effectively felt they've had nowhere to go," Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Mansfield said on Friday.
The man is accused of rape, torture, strangulation, stalking, deprivation of liberty, extortion, hacking/misuse of a computer, burglary, and assault occasioning bodily harm.
Police will allege aspects of his behaviour involved coercive control, including taking over the young women's social media and accessing bank accounts.
