Qld's New Acland coal mine leases approved

The mining leases for stage three of the New Acland open-cut coal mine have been approved by Queensland Resources Minister Scott Stewart.

The project is an expansion of the existing mine about 35 kilometres northwest of Toowoomba on the Darling Downs.
