An Indigenous women's ranger program that combines thousands of years of cultural knowledge with digital technology to protect the Great Barrier Reef has won a million pounds ($A1.8m) from the Prince of Wales' Earthshot fund.
The global prize rewards innovative evidence-based solutions in the fight against climate change and other large-scale environmental problems.
