Qatar have swapped out first-choice goalkeeper Saad Al Sheeb for today’s crucial World Cup meeting with Senegal in Group A.
A 2-0 defeat to Ecuador on Sunday saw Qatar become the first host nation to ever lose their opening game of the tournament, and will be the first team eliminated should they suffer the same fate in Al Thumama this afternoon.
Goalkeeper Al Sheeb was arguably the most shakey during his country's World Cup debut, in which nerves appeared to get the better of them, and Meshaal Barsham has been given a chance to impress in one of three changes.

Senegal also lost their opener 2-0, with two late goals from the Netherlands, and another dodgy goalkeeping performance from Edouard Mendy. He keeps his place but there are changes in front of him.
Ismail Jakobs came off the bench in Senegal's opening 2-0 defeat by Netherlands and is afforded his first start. Senegal manager Aliou Cisse swaps Jakobs in for the injured Cheikhou Kouyate and Pape Abou Cisse is replaced by Famara Diedhiou.
