The 2022 World Cup is nearly here. So we've taken a look at some of the best pubs and bars to go if you're looking to be out to watch the games.
The tournament in Qatar kicks off on Sunday and runs through to December 18, with England's first game on Monday at 1pm against Iran. England then play the USA at 7pm on Friday, November 25, and Wales at 7pm on Tuesday, November 29.
So here are just some of the best bars, venues and fan zones to take in all the World Cup action this month.

Allstars Sports Bar
Allstars is one of the most popular sports bars in Bristol and for good reason, given that the venue is packed full of pool tables and big screen TVs for watching live sports. Located not far from the University of Bristol on Queens Road, Allstars is guaranteed to be full of Three Lions fans during the England games, meaning that the atmosphere here will be electric.

This modern and spacious pub, just off Park Street, is always a safe bet when it comes to live sports with big screens in every corner. This city centre pub has said it will be showing over 60 games over the next four weeks on five different screens. King Street Brew House is for walk-ins only so make sure you get down early. Its very own microbrewery creates an amazing range of both cask and keg beers alongside the usual favourites, served alongside its pizza menu.

Famous Royal Navy Volunteer
Slightly further down King Street is The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer, a 17th century pub will a newly completed games room with several screens. There are television screens throughout the venue, which also offers an extensive food and drink menu to keep you going throughout the matches.

The Cider Press
The Cider Press on Gloucester Road promises an exhilarating football atmosphere and 32 draught ciders as well as beers and some cask ales. Fans can book a table in advance to ensure they don't miss a slice of the action and tuck in to one of their sharing platters which make a perfect half time snack.

The Three Lions
This is perhaps one of Bristol's most football-obsessed pubs and was known for the Euros last year for its octopus predicting the scores. The Three Lions in Bedminster is a traditional boozer offering large screens covering every inch of the World Cup action.

Bambalan
Bambalan, the venue at the bottom of the Beacon Tower in The Centre in Bristol, is showing all the World Cup games on ten huge anti-glare screens, with DJs, competitions, giveaways and more. And each England match will feature a Sky Sports presenter, plus a Bristol football figure in person at the venue. The first England game against Iran is being played next Monday lunchtime, with the kick-off at 1pm.

Birkett Tap
Another city centre spot, Birkett Tap is a large venue where fans can book in advance to secure their spot. Their tapas menu is served from 12pm daily with tons of meat and vegan options to choose from and a well-stocked bar of draught beers and ciders, wine and gins.

White Harte
The White Harte is a vibrant pub at the top of Park Street that has two large projectors. It is bound to suit all of your sporting needs and is taking bookings for the World Cup 2022.

Old Fish Market
This award-winning pub has step-free access and has so far programmed to screen the England matches the team is playing in the group stage, according to its website. As a Fuller's pub, Old Fish Market has an array of the brewery's beers and ales on tap that can be served alongside a pub classic from their food menu.

The Cat and Wheel
The pub has multiple newly installed UHD large-screen televisions across different areas of the pub. Part of the small Wickwar Pub group, The Cat and Wheel has a great selection of cask-conditioned ales, world lagers, ciders and cocktails together with scrumptious food served in a warm, relaxed and welcoming environment.
On November 21 , The Cat and Wheel is offering its first 100 customers a free pint for England's first match of the World Cup.
