Edinburgh Network Rail New Street

Edinburgh residents have been forced to walk through a creepy 'underworld' due to temporary repairs.

Locals took to social media to share images of the structure on Calton Road, comparing it to an underground mine.

Temporary pedestrian tunnel in the heart of Edinburgh is part of Network Rail works to strengthen and repaint the rail bridges at Calton Road and New Street.
