Putin welcomes Xi as ‘main guest’ for Victory Day as Russia and China boost ties

Arriving on Wednesday for a four-day state visit, Xi was welcomed as the “main guest” at upcoming Victory Day celebrations.

The leaders confirmed plans to expand trade and investment, with talks also focusing on energy supplies and collaboration within the BRICS group of emerging economies.
