Putin says West allowing Ukraine to use its long-range missiles to strike in Russia would put Nato at war with Moscow

Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that the West would be directly fighting with Russia if it allowed Ukraine to strike Russian territory with Western-made long-range missiles.

The Russian President said the move would alter the nature and scope of the conflict.
