Putin health update as secret recording allegedly claims he is seriously ill with blood cancer

Russian leader Vladimir Putin is "very ill with blood cancer' it has been reported. An oligarch with close links to the president has reportedly been recorded as giving the information during a conversation with a Western venture capitalist.

There have been a number of claims about Putin's health. This week he was seen looking frail and using a blanket during the Victory Day celebrations in Moscow, reports The Mirror.

While these have not been confirmed by Russian Officials there have been a number of claims about his health over recent weeks. The Kremlin however has stated that Putin is fit and well.
