Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt has revealed she has her own secret weapon to ensure Dancing On Ice success.
The singer is sure to bring out her daring move, the 'standing oversplits' during at least one of her routines to make sure she impresses the ITV show judges.
The 39-year-old will be bringing the move out from her band days to hopefully bring her some luck on the ice.
In the past she's described it as her 'biggest weapon in life', comparing it to the likes of Michael Jackson's moonwalk.
She told The Sun : "Michael Jackson has the moonwalk, but in Pussycat Dolls I created the standing oversplit and now it’s become a language among dancers around the world. So many girls do it, boys do it and always tag me and it’s a thing.
"So I’m quite grateful that I’ve been able to create that and grateful to be turning 40 and be a mum of three and still get an opportunity to stretch my limbs like that."
However, due to the risky move Kimberly has to be careful she doesn't suffer a wardrobe malfunction.
Luckily The Dancing On Ice costume department take this into consideration and make sure her leotards fit properly.
Kimberly described the possibility of a wardrobe malfunction as her 'worst nightmare', saying that she has always been safe with her outfits.
Back in her Pussycat Dolls days she would make sure to wear boy shorts under her costumes.
She said: "That’s my worst nightmare, a wardrobe malfunction of any type. I’ve always been so safe. I’d always have boy shorts that I could count on if the crotch that was in a costume was a bit too small."
The star went on to say that she also wears three bras when performing, one to cover up, one to 'give them some push' and the third is the costume on top.
Kimberly was one of the first contestants to take to the ice last week as she performed in Sunday's launch show.
She managed to score a very impressive 30 out of a possible 40 points, coming in second place on the leader board, just one point behind former Strictly pro Brendan Cole.
Of the four judges, Olympic legend Jayne Torvill scored Kimberly the lowest.
Kimberly said that it was amazing to be able to watch Brendan and his partner Vanessa dancing on the ice, saying she looks to her for inspiration when working on her own skills.
She was prepared to not be at the top of the leader board and is proud at the amount she's managed to learn in such a small time so far.
She said after Jayne gave her the lowest score she's not been able to get it out of her head since.
However, the singer knows that the judge is just trying to encourage her to work harder and try to put her nerves to the side while performing.
