'Pushpa 2: The Rule' premiere death case: Allu Arjun, theatre management booked for culpable homicide not amounting to murder- Details Inside

As 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' went on a record-breaking spree at the box office on Day 1 of its release, celebrations at Allu Arjun's camp hit a roadblock when the Hyderabad police on Thursday booked the actor, his security team and the management of Sandhya 70mm Theatre for the death of a woman.

On Thursday, news broke of a woman, tragically losing her life in a stampede during the premier show of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' on Wednesday night. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Zone) Akshansh Yadav said to IANS that based on a complaint by the deceased woman's husband, police have registered a case and booked the above-mentioned for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
