She was neglected and dumped by her owner, and now she's completely blind in one eye.
Kitty's first year of life has been a heartbreaking one - but thanks to a team of caring rescuers, everything is looking up.
The one-year-old puppy from Sussex is searching for a forever home after being abandoned at Arundawn Dog Shelter last week, My London reports.
Staff at the specialist rescue centre believe Kitty was formerly mistreated by a breeder, leading to her suffering with severe and painful glaucoma.
Young Kitty has been described as "timid" but "wants to make friends" with other dogs at the rescue.

The chocolate brown dog arrived at the shelter on June 7 and has since been assessed to have her right eye removed.
A spokesperson for Arundawn Dog Shelter said: "Yes - ANOTHER dog dumped with medical problems and in an appalling state of neglect! Kitty is not even two years old.
"Dumped with her eye in a horrid mess. Almost certainly glaucoma (probably genetically inherited) and now blind. She will need surgery to remove the eye."
Describing her coat as "matted and filthy", they added: "She is very timid but wants to be friends. After assessment she will be looking for a foster home with a hopeful view to forever."
The photos of Kitty's ill health created a storm on social media with animal lovers describing their "horror that an animal could ever be treated so badly."
One person commented: "Poor little innocent dog. It's heartbreaking," while another said: "This makes me so angry."
"That's heartbreaking must be so painful for her, without people like you I've really lost all faith in humanity," someone wrote.
"Bless you little one, what must you have been though at the hands of these vile people," a follower said.
Staff shared an update following Kitty's rescue and said: "Kitty is booked in to have the much needed surgery to remove her damaged eye next Monday. In the meantime, she is eating well, now wormed and will have a full groom on Saturday after giving her a little more time to learn to trust."
If you are looking to foster Kitty and give her the home she truly deserves, please visit Arundawn's website and fill in an application form.
She would not be able to live with cats or children under 15, and would ideally be rehomed with another dog to help her gain confidence.
