Puppy drives older brother mad with 'annoying' habit of using him as a chair

A "clingy" puppy loves winding her older brother up with her annoying habit of using him as a chair.

Ever since boxer Wendy joined the family, she hasn't stopped sitting on Steve and invading his personal space.

What was once a cute habit when she was tiny and light, is now seemingly more uncomfortable as the pair are almost the same size.

In a TikTok video posted on Steve's account, you can spot Wendy perched on his back at the window, in the chair and on the sofa - despite there being lots of space for her to lay alone.

The montage has been viewed by more than 2.3 million people and is captioned: "Steve's getting really sick of this".

While he remains very calm and relaxed throughout the video, you can spot him coming to his wits end when he stares blankly into the distance.

In the comments section, Steve's owner calls him the "sweetest soul" and says: "I think he only thought it was cute when she was a puppy though, poor guy".

Hundreds of followers have commented on the duo's "unconditional love" and "attachment issues", with many calling Steve an "emotional support dog".

Talking about the possibility of Wendy having separation anxiety, her owner said: "I can't even walk into another room without them both following. I think it's a boxer thing, they always need to be near something."

Boxer owners could relate to the neediness, with one saying: "Such a boxer thing to do - if it isn’t Steve he sits on, it would be you."

Steve the boxer has a popular account on TikTok with over 25,600 followers, and his owner often posts videos of him and Wendy being clingy and amusing.

The pair aren't the only pets making dog owners laugh this week - Good Boy Ollie was captured wearing matching 'cones of shame' with his dad.

The popular pup was filmed sitting on the sofa with his father after having eye surgery.

In a bid to make Ollie "feel less lonely", his dad sported a pink cone around his neck while attempting to sip a cup of tea.

His owner, Alex Morgan, captioned the clip: "I swear it's always the dads who didn't want a dog that end up loving them the most."

The viral footage also reached millions of people, with many falling in love with her dad's devotion to her dog.

One person said: "Protect at all costs!!! Best dog dad ever!!!" while another commented: "Not all heroes wear capes … they wear cones".
