Puppy dies after having 'face ripped off' by off-lead dog in violent attack

A puppy reportedly had its face ripped off when it was savagely attacked by an off-lead dog while out on a walk. Lesley McGowan, from Liverpool, took her two pooches Jasper and Jolene to Dovecot Park on Saturday (March 26).

Suddenly Jolene, an 11-month-old Griffon Bruxellois, was attacked by another dog. She suffered horrific injuries, including vicious wounds to her face, and so she was taken to a nearby vets.

However, she tragically died on Sunday morning (March 27) as a result of the attack. Lesley spoke of her ordeal to the ECHO in hopes that tiny Jolene's story will encourage all dog owners to be responsible.
